Eco Energy Improvements Sponsor the Cross Cooley Challenge 2026

At Eco Energy Improvements, we are incredibly proud to once again sponsor the annual Cross Cooley Challenge, which took place on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026.

The Cross Cooley Challenge has become one of the most anticipated community events in the region, bringing together people from all walks of life to experience the stunning beauty, spirit, and resilience of the Cooley Peninsula. Whether participants take on the challenge for fitness, charity, personal achievement, or simply to enjoy the incredible scenery, the event captures everything that makes our local community so special.

Now in its 14th year, the Cross Cooley Challenge is a 15km trek across the beautiful Cooley Mountains, starting near Ravensdale and finishing in Carlingford. The event raises vital funds and awareness for two incredible local charities — the North Louth Hospice and the Maria Goretti Foundation. These organisations provide essential support and care to families throughout the local community, making a real difference in people’s lives every single day.

For Dundalk and the wider Cooley area, events like the Cross Cooley Challenge are about far more than just sport and adventure. They showcase the strength of our local community and create a real sense of pride in the place we call home. Every year, the challenge attracts participants and supporters from across Ireland, helping shine a spotlight on the natural beauty and welcoming spirit of our region.
